Undoubtedly, Punakha Dzong is one of the most mesmerizing dzongs in Bhutan. Its structural beauty speaks about its glorious history itself. The magnificent landscape at the confluence of the mighty rivers, Pochhu and Mochhu uplifts the glory of this age-old monastery. The fully bloomed lilac-colored Jacaranda trees enhance the beauty of this dzong during the spring season vibrantly.
Tashichho Dzong is one of the first-line constructions which contribute their glory to uplift the attraction of Thimpu. Being an important seat of the Bhutanese Government, this dzong is serving since 1952 and was formerly known as Thimphu Dzong. Tashichho Dzong is situated amidst a delightful landscape on the right bank of the splashing Wangchu River. If you are visiting Thimphu, then Tashichho Dzong must be on your bucket list to witness the combination of graceful history and blissful nature.
Chele La Pass is famous among the tourist as it is the highest road pass of Bhutan. From Chele La pass you get the unbelievable views of the Himalayas. Chele La Pass is also the best place in Bhutan to get the entire views of both Paro and Haa Valley. Trekking lovers also love the scenic sight of Chele La pass and on a clear day, the panoramic view of Mount Jomolhari can also be seen.
If you want to experience the historical beauty of Bhutan then, you'll not find a better place than Rinpung Dzong. It is a long fort or a Buddhist monastery which highlights the architectural beauty of Bhutan. Rinpung Dzong was built in the 16th century and it is located in Paro District of Bhutan. At Rinpung Dzong you'll witness an amazing area filled with many holy temples and monasteries.
